My favorite Diaper Bag

Chicco Keyfit 30 Carseat

We searched high & low for the best car seat for our little guy.  We read lots of reviews & asked lots of other mamas what their favorite car seats were.  The Chicco Keyfit 30 Carseat had the best reviews & we felt it was the safest for our baby.  We have loved it & I think he has too!  It is well built, it doesn't feel light & flimsy like some other carseats were that we looked at.  It is a little heavier to carry, but it is worth it.  It can fit babies up to 30 lbs.  And it is so cute too!

You can find them {here} on Amazon.  For some reason I couldn't find our polka dot design on there, sorry.  It was only $130 when we got it a year ago.  But there are other cute designs too.

Here is our cute little newborn baby on the way home from the hospital.  He is not so newborn anymore, he's 1!  We'll have to pick another carseat soon, but for now we love his Chicco!

Nuk Sippy Cups

Obviously sippy cups aren't anything new, but Nuk is my very favorite kind!  I've tried others & they just leak.  My little dude loves his Nuk sippy cups & couldn't live without them.  Plus they are cute too.

My little dude is such a light sleeper!  He loves to sleep, but wakes up if you walk by his room.  We do live in an old home with squeaky wood floors....so that doesn't help.  We've figured out where we can and can't step.  It's like you are doing a dance trying not to step on the squeaks, haha  :)

I had to find something for white noise when he is sleeping so he wouldn't hear every little noise and wake up.  I decided to order this cute giraffe from Amazon & can't live without it ever sense!  It has a velcro strap to attach to the crib or bed.   4 peaceful sounds:  Safari Groove, Victoria Falls, Jungle Trails & Babbling Brook.  (my dude loves Safari the best)  There are two sleep timer options:  23 & 45 minutes.  It's soft, cute, portable & a life saver!  My mom watched my son when we went on a trip & she said this was the best thing ever!  She was sold & is getting one for when the grandkids come to stay.  I think every mom needs one for their kid.

Why I Love Yard Sales

I absolutely LOVE yard sales!  We go every single weekend.

Walmart Has a Dollar Section!

Woo to the hoo!  I don't know what it is about dollar sections...but I am like a kid in a candy store when I am in them  :)  So when I saw that Walmart now has a dollar section I was so giddy!

 Talk about YUMMO!  My new favorite snack!  I heard these were only available out of the country, so when I saw them for sale at Walmart yesterday I was so excited to try them  :)  They are about $1.50 but so worth it.  Go try.  You'll be happy, promise.

It comes with breadsticks for dipping & creamy nutella.  Mmmmmm!

Here's my collection of classic clothbound books!  I love the covers, don't you??  They are gorgeous & look perfect on my built in bookshelves!  I want them all NOW, but am slowly collecting them.  They have classics like Pride & Prejudice, Emma, Persuasion, Jane Eyre, Oliver Twist....etc.
