4th of July Pinwheels

These are soooo easy to make!  My new fav craft because it only takes a few minutes.

All you need is...
cute double sided scrapbook paper
wooden dowels ($1 @ Dollar Tree or Walmart)
stars or buttons for centers
hot glue gun
scissors

Cut different size squares, I did a 3x3 4x4 & 5x5 for these pinwheels.  At each corner cut a line towards the center but not all the way through.  So you will have four slits.  Then take one corner, put a dab of glue in the center & glue down.  Repeat with every other corner.  Pick a center to glue in the middle.  And to finish, glue a wooden dowel on the back.  And you're done!  Make as many as you'd like  :)  You could even add these to a wreath, a picture frame or make a banner out of them.  So many fun possibilities.

Find a cute bucket or jar to hold them in.  You can use styrofoam, beans or marbles to make them hold up straight.

Flag Jars

These only take a few minutes!  Love those kind of crafts, don't you?

What you'll need...
jars (on hand)
star streamer ($1 @ Dollar Tree)
flags ($1 for 3 pack @ Target or Walmart)

All you do is fill your jars with the star streamers.  Loop them in a circle so they fill the entire jar.  They will look like this....

Then grab your flags & take off the staples that attach them to the sticks.  Mine only had 2 small staples on them so I could take them off with my hands.  (I know, I'm pretty strong)  Put the flags in the jars in front of the stars so you can see them.  And you're done!

All finished  :)

St. Patricks Day Free Printable

Honestly I don't decorate for St. Patties Day. I go right from Vday to Easter. Am I bad? Maybe I shouldn't skip out on St. Patties decor, green is one of my fav colors anyway.

{This} free printable is so cute if you happen to decorate for St. Patrick's Day. And I love those vases she painted green. What a great way to use all those vases from flowers your hubbies or boyfriends better have sent you!

DIY Easter Wreath

Last year I made this wreath for Easter. It was so simple & cheap! Always love those kind of crafts, don't you? :)

Here's what you'll need...
wreath form (you can even use a swim noodle, just form it into a circle & duct tape!)
scrap fabric
lace
foam easter eggs (Dollar Tree)
hot glue gun

Sorry I didn't take any pictures when I made it. But it's really easy.

1} wrap the scrap fabric around your wreath & glue the end down. use the same color as the lace you will be using. i used white.

2} wrap your lace around your wreath, glue the end down.

3} glue the eggs wherever you'd like on the wreath.

4} use a cute piece of lace or ribbon to hang your wreath on your door. and you're done!

Easy huh. Now you have a darling Easter wreath you made in just a few minutes!

Check out this little cutie looking at me through the window when I was taking these pictures :)
