DIY Lace Lamp Shade

Inspired by {this} post I found on Pinterest.

I got this sweet lamp at the DI for $3. I really like it, but that shade is uuuuugly! Especially that gold trim at the top.

So I ripped the trim off, spray painted the shade yellow, then wrapped lace around it & spray painted blue ocean breeze on top. Pulled the lace off & added yellow bias tape to the top & bottom....

and voila!

A new fun lamp :)

Cheap & easy, just the way I like it! (Haha, that kind of makes me sound dirty.... Lol.)
