It's basically using a mason jar instead of a photo frame :)
Here's what you need:
photos
mason jars w/ lids
doilies
that's it!
I printed out 3 of my fav photos in sepia to give them an antique look.
Grabbed some mason jars & lids I had on hand.
Slid the photos in front & stuffed a few doilies behind to fill up the jars & add to the antiqueness {is that even a word?? haha}.
Then screw on your lids. {I got these sweet lids at a local craft boutique}
And you're done!
Here are some others I have done....
What I love about this:
You can switch the photos out whenever you want.
Fill the jars with whatever you want. Photos, keepsakes, anything really.

I love this idea! So so cute!
ReplyDeleteAs a side note, you can buy the parts for a lamp to attach to the lid at any hardware store. Add it to the lid, buy (or make) a cute shade, and you have a keepsake lamp. My mom did these for us when we were kids. Mine was full of different kinds of pencils I'd collected. My mom made one for herself filled with sewing stuff. She even did one for my dad, and he filled his with his old Air Force paraphernalia. My parents still have theirs--mine broke. :(
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I need to display more photos, I'm definitely keeping this idea in mind...
